The yella terror

Postby Flightstopper » Wed Mar 05, 2014 7:09 pm

After a 24 hour stint, and maxed out stress to Mrs. Flightstopper and I, the yella dog was found. His dumb assed owner left the gate open and of course took his opportunity to break free. Never fun but even better when you want to whoop your own ass every second they are gone.

Hopefully his happy ending was an afternoon romp with the Mrs. Don't wish losing a dog on my worst enemy.

Kinda nice to see the good news before I knew the bad. Glad he's home. Lost the coyote for just an hour or so hunting specks in new marsh at season's end and that was plenty miserable enough. Don't want to think about missing one for a full day.

Glad he's back home! Same thing happened when I left the gate open a few months ago. Not a good feeling.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

That would be an extremely tough one. Not only loose a partner in crime but one that has clocked as many blind hours as Peake, don't even want to imagine that.
