I know almost all there is to know about retrievers and trees....... My wife's dog looked for pheasants in almost every tree for several years.

she brought out two of em, both with remotes. They we cool and all. It's her experience and knowledge of dogs though that I'm most impressed with. Her demeanor too...very calm with her dogs.
But we got to set up a buncha scenarios with multiple marks and blinds, over different terrain, shallow dry ditches, thistles, etc. Cadee however just worked on her permanent blind and single marks for now
