Hogs can be Deadly

My buddy killed this nice hog.
But not before it killed his two catch dogs and two hounds and injured another .
one of the blue ticks was valued at 4500.00.
It was a tuff time for him.
He has ran his dogs all around the country on Bear , Lion , Bobcat and Hogs with the normal injures.
But this guy was a bad dude.

The to catch dogs were pits with over 45 kills last season the hounds ran with them constantly.
While I wasn't there by listening to the story I think they got in a tight spot and this old boy put the medicine to them

my bear hounds hunt bear, my hog dogs hunt dogs. a dog used to treeing a bear isnt always on its game when its hunting pigs. pigs will mess up a good dog even kill it. never lost 4 or even heard of having 4 killed. sucks big time, sorry for your friend

Yea I got to tell you and I would say the same thing to him, I would never run a good hound on hogs.
But everybody has their own ideas and he had been very successful and then bam it happened.

That sucks. Got several friends who have had their catch dogs tore up pretty good. Occasionally one killed. But never heard of 4 before. That's sucks.
