Homemade gear

Postby Flightstopper » Mon Dec 08, 2014 10:16 pm

Been looking at a lot of dog steps and didn't care for how much space, and expensive most are. Finally came up with this and threw it together for nothing. I plan to also have a set of eye bolts on the other side of the boat to clip to when needed. Of course real carabiners will be bought to actually hold up.

I like when duck hunting brings out the ingenuity in people.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

Just another facet I enjoy in this madness.

The best gear is the stuff that's custom built for your purposes.

Nice.

Nice! I like the carabiner idea. Might have to steal this for my boat.
