Thanks O2M, went Sat to talk to some farmers about pheasant hunting, in which the news was not very good. On the way stopped to chase some more chickens, to no avail. Did however come across a few pheasant, Taz and my dads britt did a great job on crazy wil running birds, would have been a 2 man limit in first field.

Taz looked like he got a good work out. watching a good Brit and a WPG working together would be a very enjoyable day
the Phez hunting up here isnt going to be worth a piss , i seen maybe 5 roosters since we started chopping corn just before labor day

Last Sat I saw 3 birds in the field before calling it a day, and before I drove 20 miles I saw 3 along the highway picking gravel. It was aweful tempting to not "sneeze" and have the truck swerve to pick up a bird, but I'm sure that would give me some screwed up karma for the rest of the year or something.

Exactly. And I've got the Emporer coming this weekend. Don't need any bad juju. Wonder if the Emporer would like other brightly colored birds...
