Although I don't know this for certain, I would have to say that dog trainers must have a degree of patience rivalled only by daycare workers. I honestly don't know how you do it, day after day.

I'm not pro by any standards but training my dog taught me more patience than anything else so far. I think having kids one day might top it but that's about all I think would.

At least kids speak the same language (eventually). With a dog it's always a degree of mystery.

My kids will likely end up barking instead of speaking. I tend to have the same expectations of small children that my pup already gives me, as told by my wife.

I often find myself talking to the kids the same way I talk to The Dingo. It works, so I'm not complaining.

(sorry for the hijack, Josh)

Heck my dogs listen better than my kids most the time :D People tend to get upset when you have an ecollar on your 4 year old son...

Congrats Josh. I kinda know the owner of the yellow. I put a truck cap or 2 on his trucks.
Where did that pup come from? Looks a lot like my buddies yellow from Valpo.

South Bend, In. Shad knows an ex professional fisherman that I fish with quite a bit. He worked out a sponsorship of some sort where I used to work to get his caps.

I've heard good things about your training from several people.
