Dogs look mortified, and I don't blame them. Hats are among the things no gun dog should have to endure being photographed with. But there are others:

Ha Kylo was half asleep and Reaper was pretty content chewing a bone. Zero mortification

Yarch! You tryin' to put their gundoghood in question? Feeling even worse for the poor hounds now.

Nothing poor or any reason to feel sorry for those two boys.

I don’t need to tell myself it as I know it.

Who would’ve thunk it that putting a hat on a sleeping dog and a dog chewing his bone would rub somebody in such a special way!

I guess I better ground the kid that did it and let him know it shall never happen again.

No need to get defensive and deflect blame to a child that put a hat on dogs in the privacy of their home. Dogs are wonderful creatures that may have already forgiven you.

Not defensive at all and no need to let a couple gun dogs wearing a hat put you in a state of depression. I believe when I get home from Montana they will lick my face uncontrollably since I am the one that purchased the hat.

Rick It might be too late for Kylo! My son said he came home for lunch and this is how he found him on the couch.

Something I randomly noticed on 3-17.
Sunrise 7:01
Sunset 7:01
It was equinox here in C-U.
Weird. I thought 3-20 or 21was it.
