How do you guys deal with shedding? Twice a year it seems like Moose drops all his hair and besides regular brushing do you guys do anything special?

Furminator, Kong makes a shedding tool that is equally awesome or removing the topcoat the furminator mainly hits the undercoat. Then just a regular slicker brush to pick up all the loose hair left behind from the other two tools. This is no doubt the best way I have found and will remove a lot of hair quick.

I've got one of those, that thing was expensive and I agree it works amazing. Seems like I'm still living in a world of white hair this time of year

Then you need the kong! It's only about $8 but it knocks all the top coat dead hair free. Most the hair you find around your house is from the topcoat. Furminator works to remove the undercoat.

Bella doesn't really have that much hair to lose I guess. She hasn't shed very bad ever.

My dog isn't a pure lab, I think he's mixed with golden. He has longer hair than most labs.

I have no idea what kind of dog Bella is. I got her from someone and we were the 4th house she'd been to at 4 months old. The vetting paperwork said golden lab, but she looks identical to fox red yellow labs. I could care less either. She's the color that I wanted, and she's smart enough to do things right if I'm smart enough to teach her right.
She seems to have longer hair than most labs, I think. She's got a fluffy butt and the rear upper part of her back legs too. This was when she was about 5 or 6 months old, but you can kind of see what I'm talking about:

Flightstopper, is that the top coat tool you have been talking about? I need to get one, I have the fulminator for my dog, but he still sheds like mad. I have to vacuum every other day just to keep up.

At least someone else feels my pain. I am in the same boat as you. I need to get one of those top coat tools. I'll stop by the pet store next time I'm on that side of town.

What the hell kind of psychedelic picture is that? I looked at it for 5 minutes, and still can't figure out what I'm looking at besides some dog hair. Is it in a glass trash can?

If it's a bath tub it's the size of a motel bath tub. You still livin' at the motel 6?

The top of the picture is closest to the drain/faucet. It gets wider at the back for the wide ass mother in law
