They are free but it's kind of a pita proving you got one.
The purpose of the program is to collect information from hunters who use the best 16 WMAs in Arkansas.
There are some management issues...several of the WMAs in the sweet 16 are vast. Many square miles of flooded green timber.
Some are complaining about getting checked in other forums...
I really think it's a good idea and got my permit. No big deal. FREE!
