The fish hook is shut down due to a levee failing. ?!?!
That is a deal-ender for me.
Have had some good ones and some bad ones at Mack McGee. Will describe a bad day. Have had many of these over the years and it's why I quit going there.
You park at Mack, walk in and you can hear tens of thousands of mallards. You get excited. You walk out to your stake and set up your spread and wait. SO EXCITING!!!! You get where it's 15 minutes before shooting time and the ducks start quacking a lot. Five minutes later they all get up and fly away never to be seen again. If you don't shoot ten minutes early you are not going to shoot so you may as well go home. Hope ya'll had a good time. Lets go get some breakfast. Great eh?
