Neat find. For those from away, "Parrain" is "godfather".

This makes me want to read "Old Man and The Boy" again.

I liked the one about the cobbler, funny how the words we used have changed but men have not.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

One of my neatest hunts was with the Cange (sp) guys in Red River area of Louisiana.
they had years and years of journal entries.
What was endearing is the hand writing of their dad and a brother that had both passed.......you could just see the good times and family bond in those entries.......

spectacular really.

Yeah but just "unteel u memembr it's wroted liek dis".
Good book but you have to de-cipher it.

Want a hard copy of "Poor No More" ?
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.

Your thinking of Nash Buckingham's " De Shootinest Gent'man".

I'm not familiar with the other book. Who wrote that?
