I always get confused thinking we're in the pacific fly way. MT is divide in half of the flyway. HuntFishNV, MTfowler, Duplex, and myself are on the "pacific" side of the state. Bulldog is on the Central flyway part of the state. The daily limit is different (You can shoot more ducks here on the pacific side of the state).

For daily bag. Not sure about there but here possesion is 3x the daily bad. That's 3 birds over. Or say it is 3x the daily bag in the pacific side and only 2x the daily bag on the central side, then you are going 8 ducks over the limit.

In possession here means in the freezer. They aren't going to search unless you say something suspicious. Game wardens here are pretty lenient. A buddy and I each accidentally shot a bird over the limit. I thought we would be ok. Well, green jeans was in the parking lot doing checks. We did the right thing and told him that yeah we accidentally shot one over the limit. He understood and just told us to be careful next time.
