Did the math and it comes out to around $7 per box. I'll try and get more detailed for you later. Buying once fired hulls is cheaper or have buddies shoot certain shells to get the hulls you want. Shooting 2 3/4 helps too I they fit your situation, work way better than you might figure.

If savings is why you are reloading, it isn't worth your time. You have to enjoy it to make it worth while. Once loads are figured, you can save money, but the experimenting that must be done negates the savings. Think of it as shootibg super premium loads for the price of Experts.

That is what scares me Jarbo, I may end up spending hours in the shop trying to configure the perfect load and drive myself crazy!!! If it boils down to shooting premium loads at expert cost I am all for it. I know nothing about it other than reading what is posted on this site and others. Was just curious.

My figure of cost per shell. Being able to get primers and powder locally significantly drops the price.

9 cents of powder
12 cents steel
8 cents per wad
4 cents per wad
5 cents per shell (once fired hulls).

Comes in at $9.50 for first box. $8.25 reusing hulls. Get a couple loads out of each before they crack usually.

This is the cost for my 2 3/4 loads the way I figure

I am assuming you shoot more conformed steel than what you find in an Expert, resulting in a more consistant pattern?

Like a boss.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

Olly, what length are those and are you looking for anymore arrows?

Not right now, what you got?

Easton Axis carbon 330's (I'll check on the length)
My brother and I were at the bow shop and the guy offered us a deal if we bought the last 2 dozen he had of the previous years camo pattern. He hasn't shot any of them yet, just decided he wants to stick to shooting Gold Tips.

We are on the road now.

I know we will get it to live up to its true potential.

One thing I forgot Jarbo is a way to trim your cases. Lee sells a case holder/trimmer that will work in my Lee zip trimmer. They are $6

We are going to need one of these, sorry I didn't think of it until now. That is EVERYTHING.
