Nah, I'm still in concept mode on CADCAM. I have what feels like a really cool idea in my head, but am have troubles getting it to look great on screen. Then I have to make it sound great. I hope to spit rev 1 out sometime this month.

Do you have any pics of your calls? I have a tradition of adding one call to my collection every year. I have been shopping for this years call.

I also hand turn some barrels and slap em on some echo inserts but 3leg turns some really nice looking stuff. You should get one from him. They're sharp.

Just be careful when you start bonding different woods, it looks awesome but I've had troubles making them last. I've been told its the oils in the exotic hardwoods that stops the glue/epoxie from making a solid bond.

I won't be having to glue/epoxy anything. Wood on acrylic should be fine right?

What do you mean? Are you going to make a barrel that is part acrylic and part wood?

The insert is acrylic. The barrel is wood.

This is the one I made for SCHNETZ, its Verra wood (turns green when exposed to sunlight) with an Ebony tip.
