Speck call

Speck call

Postby 3legged_lab » Sat Aug 17, 2013 6:56 pm

Hey valley guys, I lost my speck call (I didn't really like it anyways) and I need a new one. Anybody have a suggestion on one to try? I don't want to break the bank and kind of prefer the smaller, possibly less known shops.

I can't say he's pricey or not on his speck calls since I've never bought one but I'd guess he's probably in line with Riceland or cheaper.
I meant to try and visit his shop and pick up a duck call when I went to my daughters high school graduation. My ex lives a couple miles from them, but just didnt have time.

I don't need a speck call very often, in fact so little that I don't usually even keep it on my lanyard, but don't want a piece of junk 20 dollar call either. That poly speck is in line with what I was looking for. I'll check em out more when I get home from work.

Basin makes a nice call. A few guys around here use Red Bones. I have a Sean Mann And a Lares. They both are decent. I've been floating the idea of buying a Red Bone some day.

I like my basin honker call but refuse to spend another 130 on another call that will be used even less.
