Every time Jehler posts in the haiku thread I get a thrill.

Besides John, he could actually use it as he will be here hunting in a couple months.

I feel I would be jinxing myself. If the Chiefs make the playoffs, I may have a mild anxiety attack. And if they make it to the Super Bowl, I may have a stroke. I've never had more than about $20 riding on a game, and with the possibility of a $3,000 payout, I'm not sure if my heart could handle it. Matter of fact, I hope they lose about 4 straight so I can get some sleep. Many more wins and I'll be anxiety central for the next few months, and I can't have that.

Why "save the fur check"?
TK's not too confident.
Chiefs may suck. Again.

They play some home games coming up.
The road out of the AFC West runs through Denver.

And that's gonna be a tough one. Denver's no joke this year. But the KC defense should be able to ring Manning's bell just one time early, and that'll fuck him up. He doesn't like to get hit.

Look at the schedule. We play Denver 2 times in 3 weeks. And I think one good hit will shake him up.

I KNOW one good hit is all it takes, but the problem is getting that one shot in before he's already beaten your ass. 4-0 I get the hat, 7-0 I get the jersey.
