Jenny and I started out around 9:00 a.m., searching for Blackfish in Mobile Bay, but could find no joy. Switched gears and headed North, to the head of the bay and entrance to our delta. Pecked the bottom near the mouth of a channel leading into the bay with some live shrimp, and found the Redfish stacked up like cordwood. The rods bowed up with every cast, and it was a Chinese fire drill for the next 10 minutes. Kept one over 26" for the grill and culled the rest of the larger fish, and filling out our limit with 22-25" fish. Iced our catch down, made a run to a Mexican Restaurant (Del Rio), on the water, and cooled off sipping an ice cold margarita. Pulled the boat out afterwards and headed home, bound for the shower, AC, and an afternoon on the couch, watching ball. Fall is trying to get here, and happy to see that we will get a little relief this week
