For Christmas this year my daughter bought me a pair of wool socks at Bergners. I think that's a Macys in disguise.
Point is it's not a cheap store and no way would I ever go in one looking for a pair of socks.
HOWEVER:
My daughter must really love me. She paid I don't know how much for these socks that are freaking awesome.
I've had dozens of pairs of wool socks. Bought the mountain-climber ones a few times too. Nothing compares to the new ones I got.
The new socks I'm raving about are called "Heat Holders".
If you turn them inside out you'll see that the insides are like raw wool. (the finest)
Very soft. They're extra tall too. (knee socks)
AND THEY STAY UP!!!
Again. I have never owned such awesome and warm socks like these.
Try a pair. I bet they are $40. Afraid to ask.
Holy shit they're only $16. https://www.heatholders.com/?msclkid=cd ... paign=(ROI)%20Branded&utm_term=heat%20holder%20socks&utm_content=Heat%20Holder%20Socks
Oh yeah. NEVER EVER dry your wool clothing in a dryer. Hang dry.
Why? The wool you paid extra for ends up in the lint trap.
