When I picked that wigeon my hands smelled like I'd just cleaned a fish.
They always fishy?
I don't think so but that one I got is pretty fowl.

On to the next thing.
I think the wires I fried work like this.
No relay...no wonder it fried.
If one of you guys is a boat engine genius speak up please.
I'm looking at starters and it appears that the wire just attaches to a screw.
I can re-wire that starter I think.

I'm no boat engine genius...
But I am an electrician, I don't think any standard switch will carry enough amps to start a boat motor...
I think there is a relay somewhere??
Had a Mercury 35 and it had a relay...
I have a Mercury 60 right now and it has a relay...
Any Briggs lawn mower relay will work...

I stayed in a super 8 and there are push-button switches that'll do the job.
I rigged my last boat engine.
It had no starter and I added one. It is possible.
This is a 50 Amp starter switch.
I may use one.

Mount it on the front of the cowl.
The switch on my engine can't be used unless the engine is in neutral. It's a safety thing.

Thanksgiving
DID YOU KNOW?
The first settlers in this country were a bunch of English Karens. Yeah they were socialists and thought " this time it'll work".
They went to America and tried it out.
Surely it'd work.
Wellll....it did not.
Many starved to death due to lack of incentive to produce excess food.
Once they adopted a free market economy one man could produce enough for 30 and make a profit from his sweat. Socialism don't work it can't work it'll never work.
Think about that today please.

Investigated and the red wire is what fried.
It goes from a junction straight to the switch and from switch to starter. Negative ground.
It's straight wired no relay. Hard to believe it but that's how it is. At least I don't have to troubleshoot a relay.
Have to buy red wire and a starter motor.

It's what I've always done.

Looks like gumbo for when it's icy cold here in February.
I'll be gone in January.

All them ducks were healthy.
Soybeans is what they've been eating.
I plucked them in camp. Was cold enough at night where hanging them in a tree worked..usually it's too hot for that. They're in great shape. Good eats!

We put them in freezer bags, suck air out with a straw, zip lock them, then wrap with freezer paper, and freeze.
Done like that a duck will keep for years in a good deep freezer.
8-)

I'll try and get my grandsons to set still long enough for a picture. Logan is 11, Elliott is 5, and Emmet is 3. Juniper was born October 16. 4 grandkids.
Dang.

These go like fast as Christmas gifts.
The image is from online but we do the same thing.
A pound of spring light colored honey and a pound of dark fall crop.

The wife story...
I once put myself firmly in the dog house by actually remembering my pal dickweed's wife's name.
Kara....unique and stands out so i said it.
She attacked viciously for me being shallow and not having a list of all my friends spouses ....for thank you note puroses. I never went to their home again and never wanted to see the bitch ever again.
Kara was a 3rd grade teacher.
You know the type.

Thanksgiving report.
The time was spent trying to get finicky children to eat.
First they begged then applied pressure and then the crying. Sigh.
Kids running around mostly naked crying about not wanting to eat green bean casserole etc. Begging them to eat sweet potatoes because it has marshmallows was weird and it didn't work.

Good times.
Yeah
