Yesterday Vinny and I went out for cranes. As it goes sometimes the field that they were flying over the night before was not the field they were flying over yesterday morning so no opportunities. The flocks were pretty spaced out and I said I should go get the truck and then us move over there but I didn’t do that. So this morning Vinny, Nattles and I waited for the birds to start flying and they flew the same course as yesterday. only problem was that they were coming out closer together so by time we got into position we only had a few flocks to work with. Nattles never pulled the trigger. Vinny missed and I shot two.
It was a beautiful 36° this morning. With the 20 mph wind we were a little chilly. Roosters everywhere and that opens up tomorrow.
Starring the Seymour migrators every day. It’s great to see the white birds again and here the Specklebelly‘s laughing at us!
Reaper has the round bale climbing down pat!!!
