Cool video, welcome aboard. I will chase some chukar one of these days, I need to mark them off my upland bird list.

My buddy has a couple vizsla's and I really like that dog. I love the way it has a Labrador personality but is all business when it gets into the field. I have small children so I want a breed that is a good family dog and bird dog. But I am basing this all off my buddies dogs. I haven't been around any other pointers before.

Many of the pointing breeds would serve you well, I an a big fan of brittanys, hunted with some great shorthairs also. If you like to waterfowl also, there are some pointing breeds to serve as great retrievers also. I currently have a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon who points along with retrieves from cold water. There are also German Wirehaired Pointers, Pudeloounters, Munsterlander, along with others. Study and pick the breeds that suits your needs the best. Once that is done, picking the correct litter is more important than picking a certain breed. Good luck on the search.

I love setters...but that's all I've ever had. Have problems with retrieving in my experience though.

Nice!!

I have a Vizla, not a hunting dog but she naturally points, I'm positive you wont be disappointed, very good dogs.
