Found out today that my dad has kidney cancer. They told him that it was highly aggressive but is contained within his kidney.

That is tough news, but sounds like there is a silver lining with it being contained in only one.

Stay strong and help him put up the good fight! Sometimes support and encouragement are the best medicine!

I think this is where something clever about tapatalk should go.

how old is your ole man? One kidney or both? Been a lot of cancer battle in my fam, regardless of what the docs say keep positive and NEVER let the ole man give up the fight, I watched my mom beat cancer for 30 years after she was told she probably only had six months

He is 48 and it is only in the right kidney.

Dad went to the doctor on Wednesday and we found some more out. The mass is half the size of his kidney and is bulging it out. Doctor said that it didn't look good but he has referred him to the best endoscopic kidney surgeon in the US, so that's a plus. Unfortunately it will be over a month before he can see the surgeon right now, so we are trying to speed things up.
