Bought a new motorcycle jacket yesterday, and the alternator finally gave it's last breath on the way into work today in the truck. The belt held till work though. Had my friend pick me up the part on his way in. Wasn't sure if I'd need the 105amp or 145amp so I figured wth I'll get the bigger one and just be good. Busterds at the parts store didn't tell me that the 145 was 1" taller (hardly notable at a glance) so I fought with that damn serpentine belt for over a half hour before I held the two alts next to each other to see the difference. Then I had to steal my friends car to run back to the parts store to get a new belt.

When it rains, it pours, I swear.
