I love talking about this. I'm getting quite a bit of traction out of it, and have spread it to neighbors, and a few acquaintances at the crab feast we had on Monday. I attribute this to all the arguing amongst ourselves. It's the first small step on the path to global domination.

If I remember correctly, the Theory of Medium applies to conflict resolution. Something about not trying to forge some awkward compromise or "middle ground" when making a choice. Go with one or the other, and make the best of it. It compiments 50/50 nicely, because no one can argue that their side is the better alternative. It's 50/50, just choose one.

This is an uncensored site, no need for special symbols. And no it isn't flawed. Either you can or you cant. Personally I think you cant.

80,000 people in a stadium. one ticket will be pulled to win a full sized pick up truck (make and model are irrelevant to the example). Odds are most certainly not 50/50 for every single person there, because the odds do not change once the winning ticket is pulled. If it were 50/50, 40,000 people would win trucks and that is not possible when only 1 is available
