So how much does each of those tags cost, if you don't mind me asking?

free if u get pulled for the lottery.the state takes there cut and u get the rest.took us two days to tag out.

So is that why the gator guys on tv are always so concerned with giving unused tags back to the state at the end of the season?

I do public land those guys have private properties and leases and if u don't fill all ur tags the next year they'll cut ur tags down so u lose those tags u didn't fill. so if ur given 57 tags this year and u only fill 47 the next year u only get 47 instead of 57
