A small kennel is highly recommended.

I do have a small kennel I'm taking. As for "pets", that thing won't be a pet yet. Simply a semi-wild animal I picked up along the way. As long as it says "pets" and not "animals", I'm good.

Not yet. I'm kicking around a few, but need to get a handle on the personality yet. I have reserved sole naming privileges, and veto power over any suggestions. This will be my dog, dammit.

My kids wait more patiently for Christmas to arrive.

But I guess you have an excuse, they don't get advanced pics of their presents.

Kids have some great suggestions when picking names. When asked what we should name his soon to be born little brother, one of my boys suggested "snow boot".

yup. My kids are kings of picking two random words and making names out of them: toilet sock, trash boat, tree diaper
