And, maybe the last update before I go to pick up the pup. (12 more days) 5 Weeks, the biggest is a fuzz over 10 pounds, the smallest a little over 7, and he says everything is going according to plan. Looking forward to this.

Just booked the hotel room for the return trip. I could probably make it in one shot, but not with a 7 week old pup in the car. I suspect that is going to slow things down a bit, so decided to break the return into two parts. Always wanted to spend the night in Washington, PA. Someday, they may hang a sign on that Motel 6 which says "Assateague slept here, the founder of the 50/50™ Movement which revolutionized humanity",

Pup is coming from Wisconsin, but I'm meeting a guy halfway in Indiana, who's picking up his pup from the same litter. Saving me a lot of time and driving, and it's much appreciated.

I just noticed you're from Wisconsin- to be more specific, the pup is coming from Prairie du Chien.

I don't think there has ever been a bad Griff breeding, has there? I know its pretty protected.

We had a wachtelhund when I was growing up. They are also very similar to Draathars

Griffs have undercoats, gwps do not. Different breeds were used to create each breed. Griffs are typically more laid back and chilled, closer working in upland. A gwp, or drahthaar is typically a bigger dog.
