You do know that just because you have an "ugly dog" you don't have to drive an ugly Isuzu, right?!?

Well done Boot. I think your boat should be named "The Sensual Squid" by the way...

^^^ like

It is nice to have someone around besides Reb and FF to enjoy my funny. So much gets wasted on late night WFF.

I vote you name it "the Rusty Porthole"

It would cost you $7.83 in that car.

Still wondering if it's worth it. I'm imagining western KS and the Rockies during winter, sounds interesting!

That car was badass. Even including the mountains, and running 80 all the way across Ohio and Indiana, that thing averaged 44.1mpg. It was sweetness, and drove pretty nice. I was running it like a rally car there for quite a while. Bitch was screaming.

There's plenty of room for Taz. My kennel wouldn't fit because it was a big one, and I didn't feel like taking it apart.

Red and Mike- Starting to make plane reservations. What were the final dates? 6-10 or 9-11 January is what I re-read in the thread? Are all of those days hunting? Mike what day do you want me to link-up with you and when do we plan to get back to your place. If you would like to do a hunt is that going to be in Washington or Oregon. I am planning to leave a commuter car at your place while we drive to Cali.

Red- When we get to your place we need you to take us shopping. I don't want you paying for any food or beverages. We can feed the crew, Momma, and the kids. Or do you plan for us to do a lot of eating out. I am good either way. Just don't have the pantry loaded when we get there.

I am sure there will be more questions later but that should get it started

I think I get off work on Saturday 1/4/14 at 6:30. If I remember right, we should have the traveler from DHC that weekend. Probably hunt Sunday and Monday then head out Tuesday for NoCal. I believe the actual hunts are 9-10 jan, that is for the WCH.
I don't have to be back to work until Wed. 1/15. I'm not licensed for Washington and don't think I'm going to get that license. So, our local hunts will be on the Oregon side of the river. Oregon's licenses run from Jan1-Dec31, the annual will still be good for next fall, if you go that route. I think the 3day bird license is 26.50 but, I have to check on the waterfowl validation. If you have to have that it's another 11.50. The annual is quite a bit more including the validations you'd need for it.
I thought you were gonna be staying with family in Washington prior to the hunts.
I don't have concrete plans on exact dates, so we can still work things out if you have something you want to try to get to, so far as birds go.

OK- I will get a 3 day license for Oregon for 5-7 January. I will link up with you in the afternoon on the 4th. Need anything from Cabela's, stopping there on the way down.

officially the 9th and 10th. Show up anytime on the 8th. I'm off for the month, so if the huntings good and ya wanna stay an extra day or two, that's no problem at all. I'm planning on it just in case. Kinda figured we'd do supper here. As far as lunch, we can figure that out
