I've never shot a limit much less gone over. I did accidentally shoot my buddies hen mallard for him though...allegedly.

I cant believe you shot a hen...allegedly.

Thinking of "who shot what," something that really tickles my simple mind is seeing the flash of a band on a bird the dog's retrieving before others do and demanding, "Who shot that bird?" in a loud, angry voice. Rare has been the occasion when someone volunteers responsibility - until I shrug and suggest that the band on it must be mine.
