we need to clarify. with a deep dutch you can probably let it go longer, with a bread oven, you run the risk of burning the cake mix/biscuits on top if you let it go too long.
Used pie crust and canned pie filling. Cheating but its camping, right?
actually i'm working on catching a viable sourdough starter right now, i'm on day three and it seems to have cultured quite well, i had to toss half the mix this morning or risk it taking over my counter when i fed it again.

but yeah, the cake mix is kind of cheating, but hey, there are no set in stone rules either.
