I'm not particularly scared of bears, but I would need more space than a knife will allow. Not even sure how you do it with a hog. Jump on it's back and slit the throat?

grab rear left leg pull back and with right hand stick knife from behind the shield up into its hart.

Or grab back leg and roll them on their side. Hobble it and throw it in the trailer.

Don't worry about it, just cancel the trip and with the money you save, buy more duck hunting gear. Why would you go on a hunting trip with a bunch of guys when only one gets to pull the trigger one time an then it's time to go home?

I know, you let the dogs out and then sit around on a tailgate and drink till the dogs bay the bear.

You ever bear hunted with hounds? For years I didn't miss a day our season was open and I've never seen anyone drinking before or during a hunt.

hell you want a pig come to the midwest and steal some. the last 5-10 years livestock theft has gone up too far up. i would hate to see what some guys looked like after they tried stealing some livestock around here, my mutts would eat all the evidence

i have to go south for pig hunting but we do see some here in iowa from time to time. i think iowa still is the biggest pork producer in the usa, and some escape fro m time to time
