am just trying to found out also, spose to be going hunting with my family down there, but by the time the season over like that. well looks like ill be hunting quail.

The season isn't any shorter anywhere in the state, but the dates may have changed a bit for the zone you want. Afraid Louisiana quail may be a disappointment, too. Know they've fallen off the map here in Southwest Louisiana.
