70 lbs in a mustang suit. That count for a youth on youth openers?

jr will probably only have 25 rounds or so on the youth hunt unless he brings all three gauge of guns he has

Hearts and gizzards, not a liver fan, and always pop that green bike sack when I try to get it out for others. We filled a gallon ziplock with hearts last year

its turning into a sweet tradition here to mix up hearts, liver and gizzards chopped and fried in bacon grease with onions on a hoagie with whatever sauce after the hunt.

no doubt. i used his recipe for smoked duck stock and made that cauliflower soup of his. whoa. The duck stock is almost counter intuitive to how i leanred to make chicken stock, you know making a stock with the carcass after dinner. taking the whole birds off the smoke whole and putting them into the stock pot and picking them afterward.

about 5 years ago I switched to buying only whole chickens, the little 2-3 pound fryers that aren't all steroided out. When we do grilled or baked chicken or whatever I part it out and throw the spine, wing tips and bones if we do boneless in ziplock bags. When we get a dozen bags or so in the freezer I make a huge pan of stock, badass

The limit around here is 6 ducks so I normally just take 5 shells......I count on at least one double on every hunt :o

We get 7 ducks but I, like you, still only take 5 shells.

At least a box. Usually hunt in groups of 4 or more, so have to be prepared to shoot their limits too!
