If that doesn't work, try dressing up in some goofy clothes and put your shotgun in a golf bag and stand around in the back yard pretending to swing a golf club. Try yelling "Fore" a lot and loudly complain about the prices of new BMW's. It should draw geese right in, atleast it seems to work around here.

Knock 3-4 rows of that corn flat on the ground and run your little plond creek right into it.

Ahem. "attempted poacher".

Poaching would require shooting & hitting & killing said pinner.

Whatever works! Too damn hot for camo and I think they just arent shy yet. We used to call the state hospital security guards and have them scare the geese up to push them to the field a couple miles away. It would take them an hour or so to get them to actually take off. They would just run around and honk.

As we were leaving we had a flock of 10 following us in the boat.

How goes it AT? I'm convinced the visqueen trick is a sound idea. Think it takes some time figuring it out. But I'm a believer

I'm going every evening this week. I keep looking out the window, expecting to see some geese have pitched in, but it hasn't happened yet. But now I want to kill one over it so bad that I'm giving nothing else a shot.

I'm sure that would definitely qualify as baiting in MD

Excellent idea! I would go with the construction paper since it's cheaper, but I'm leaving it out at night, so I'd have to do it over and over again. I'm heading to Walmart tonight after dark. Excellent.

Seeing anything so far?

I really am intrigued by the plond idea. I know it works because I've seen HNTFSH's pictures. I'm just guessing you have to be located directly on a high traffic area.

It'll work. Just need to have some birds come in sight of it. So far tonight, nothing. If they see it, I'm convinced they'll take a look. A close enough look.

It gave me some serious ideas for a certain place that is not the best for waterfowl environment!

I hunted geese under some clear visqueen last year. It was working. The geese were coming in a for a good look. We had a small group working good when one of our buddies jumped up way too early without telling anyone. Fired and missed. After that the birds were flaring when they'd circle behind us cause the back of out visqueen was flapping in the wind. I'm a believer of that's what ya meant
