And that's why I want one. I'm a torque guy, not a horsepower guy. That delineation right there applies to 100% of the population, they just might not know it. You're either one or the other, in all aspects of life.

Just got my husky back from the bro in law. New chain, proper bar, replaced old upper cover, new kill switch, gas cap, grip inserts, and new drive sprocket. It's an old husky 50 that runs like a dream, and he had a parts saw that didn't run, fixed it all for $25 parts and labor.

I used a Stihl farm boss one time that was 40 years old and still had the original bar on it. Sumbitch was beat to hell and when I took it in to a certified Stihl mechanic I ask him about getting a new bar for it and he said it was fine. Honestly the most marred up bar I've ever seen but the mechanic said if the track is mostly ok then run with it... Sumbitch still scares me.

Yep, that applies to alot of things. Like bowhunters, all the kids these days want 400fps with carbon arrows that weigh nothing, and tips and fletching that are almost slivers of paper. Where is all that energy going to go with that kinda weight, not the arrow. It's like dry firing a bow. They can't figure out why it is so damn difficult to get and keep good arrow flight consistantly. I'll take a broomstick arrow with 6" feather fletch and 165 grain tip at 200fps over that shit any day. If your a real bowhunter you can get inside 20 yards. You shouldn't have to shoot 80 yards at a moving animal. :tk:

That's right, I have a Stihl.

I'm almost positive you are. I think on all the comparable models, the Husky horsepower is a couple points higher.
