I don't use boot foot waders because mud tends to suck them off my feet and when that happens it is about 50/50 that I am going to get my ass wet. I can lace my wading boots up snug enough that they won't get sucked off in the mud.

Those are pretty tough looking, but not breathable and the boots don't appear to be insulated. I would like to check a pair out some time, though.

You can have them made with whatever boots you want but, yes you are right they are not breathable. If you have a type of boot in mind you can take them out to Kim, the owner there, and he'll tell you if they are doable. They are basically a dry suit that is cut off at the chest level. When, or if, you spring a leak, he fixes them for you at the shop in St. Helens. They're tough as hell.

I wouldn't call them stiff. They give me better range f motion than my neoprenes do. Look up Kapt Kujo over on Ifish and PM him. He is always happy to show people around his his fab area in St Helens(the city). If you're familiar with St. Helens he is near the Armstrong fab not far from the waste management site. His name is Kim, you can call too. He'll have some already made up in his shop you can see for yourself and on the outside chance you are a standard size and don't want specialty boots, he could actually have some in the shop for you.
Here is his name and number.

Sounds great Mike!
Also, I'll be seeing Randy tomorrow at Portland DU dinner and finally getting those skunk skins from him. What a saga! I should have sent Chris the extra $5 to have them mailed to me.
