But red isn't the problem. That's just a sunburn. We all get that. It needs to block the rays that turn you violet. Because nobody wants to be purple. Much less ultra purple. That would hurt. Hence, it needs to block the rays that would turn you ultra violet.

Anyone else notice that the question about the continents moving is incorrect? Continents don't move, the tectonic plates that continents are made up of are the ones that move. :roll:
