Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

So close to being a sticky.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

If you saw two guys named Hambone and Flippy, which one would you think liked dolphins the most? I'd say Flippy, wouldn't you? You'd be wrong, though. It's Hambone.

If the Vikings were around today, they would probably be amazed at how much glow-in-the-dark stuff we have, and how we take so much of it for granted.

If I take a picture of a mirror, why can't I use the picture to shave?

A wise man once told me that sometimes in life you just have to roll the dice. Can I use the dice from my monopoly game or would it better to use the ones from Yahtzee?

If you ever discover that what you're seeing is a play within a play, just slow down, take a deep breath, and hold on for the ride of your life.

What if the way you looked at colors was completely different than the way other people looked at colors. Like you see green as green, but they see green as pink, but to them its still green because thats how they learned it. Mind. Blown.

It's sad that a family can be torn apart by something as simple as a pack of wild dogs.

The word extraordinary has always bugged me. We all know what it means but break it down. Extra Ordinary. So basically more ordinary than normal. So like super normal. Or really dull and boring, not something fascinating and strange.

If you pretend to shake a salt shaker on your tongue, your brain sends a signal that you're actually tasting salt. Why?

Some people are like a Slinky...not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you push them down the stairs.
