Yeah the internet makes buying cheap calls really hard. Unless you find those people who are hunters and don't buy into the call market shit.

I only have been once with the Mondo and I got a pretty good deal on one of my VMs but not quite a give away.

Nope got it a little over a year ago. A lot of Mondos had been posted up on DHC and Id been looking into getting one. Saw an add that had been marked down from $100 to $90 so I thought what the hell and asked for pics. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the picture. I was a nervous wreck waiting for the guy to reply after I told him I wanted it. Guy had no idea what he had, said it was a charismas present from his wife and that he didn't want it.

Damn! That's why you haven't gotten any more crazy deals. You're still making up for that one. On a side note, the mvp is bored out. Definitely louder and I'm playing with the tb.

Sure you can. Just this morning I gave away an older, bigger bored hedge Short Barrel that was the best sounding of its model I've heard, because I don't hunt it.

I'm going to give you my address just in case you stroke out again. I really need to get a short barrel, still haven't even tried one yet.

This one would have ruined you for most others I've heard. Went to a young protege of James Meyers (Riceland Calls) who mentioned he wanted one when James was doing me the kindness of re-turning the insert of micarta current style Riceland speck call to the dimensions of the original James Meyers speck call I much prefer. Kinda sorta went full circle, as James had given me the Short Barrel after I'd admired it. (And in a perhaps ironic twist speck call aficionados might appreciate, it had been given to James by his then partner and now arch rival, Nathan Wright of Redbone Calls.)

Yes but out of rnt's those are my top 3. I'd go dc #4 and microhen #5 with that really being a wash.

I think the Microhen is my favorite of the ones I've owned. With the DC next and then the Timbre or Original.
