what medical reports? There were no medical reports in the news story. They said medical reports were viewed.

I don't know what to believe and I won't cast judgement until I know the facts, in which case I probably will never know. I've been apart of several law enforcement related news stories, nothing negative, just news reporting incidents, where I've personally told the reporter the facts that were known at the time. I wake up the next morning, read the paper and tell my wife, well "that's not even close to what I told the reporter." Has happens several times. I'm sure Boot or any other cops have experienced the same thing.

And refer to my first post and several of boot's regarding warrants and you'll understand why I feel like the whole story was not given

Because it wouldn't be a story if both sides told their version.

I've had a multi-million dollar business (me personally) DESTROYED/OBLITERATED with one news story published in the Boston Globe alleging illegal activity.

And once all the smoke cleared and they actually investigated the WHOLE story, they realized there was no story...they did a nice follow up and told the other side a few months later and offered a half assed apology but, and by then it was too late and it was impossible to re-create what had taken 7-8 years to build and was unraveled in literally 2 days.

Fuck the press.

I don't think anyone's debating someone played in this guys butt. That's all the medical reports back up! Correct me if I'm wrong red but I will also say neither one of us think this didn't happen. All we are trying to say is the arrival says he rolled a stop sign and he was tight legging it so next thing you know the cops are writing a warrant into his butt. What we find hard to believe is this is the only probable cause they had for a district attorney and a superior Court judge to sign off on such an intrusive search.

No one here said its impossible for something this fucked up to happen and all that is being asked is you consider the possibility there is more to the story.

I never said there wasn't more to this story but just like you guys being on the other side of the blue shield on this side I know what it's like to be pulled over and lose all power even if I'm in the right because of the absolute authority we've given to police. So for me on this side it's not hard to see this happening exactly as the article describes it.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

Self- policing...give me the authoritay. These guys with badges suggest that we should do what they can't and not be paid for it, then get raked over the judicial coals for not following standard police procedures. Preposterous.

All forms/branches of government in the US today have too much power. The government is supposed to fear the people, not the people fear the government. Police today have to much authority and push bullshit laws forced upon the people by a fascist government. Example; a seat belt ticket shouldn't remotely be a possibility. How in the fuck can I get pulled over and told I owe the government money for not wearing my seat belt. I'm not endangering anyone but myself, which I should be allowed to do anyway. The point of this example is to show that the police in America are not serving the tax paying citizens but serving a fascist government. Basically, the police have been given more power than they should ever of had, as well as, abuse said power to uphold bullshit laws that contradict the oath they take. What I'm saying and what I think part of the point of this thread is that police don't serve citizens the way they should, instead they do what the hell they want because they believe they hold all the power. Which seriously goes against the constitution and if any leo believes differently than they are, for lack of a better term, a commie.

I've been pulled over and given tickets before. Even as a peace officer ( off duty ). And I know boot has too. Hell he got a seat belt ticket after leaving an interview for his full time spot as a deputy. Olly I think you should try going on a few ride slings with your local police department, sheriffs office or even state troopers/police. May give you a better understanding as to what law enforcement deals with regularly. It's just an idea. Hell who knows, you may make a friend or two in the process.
