The same police department did the same thing to another guy before their latest one. Don't go to New Mexico you'll get butt raped for rolling a stop sign.

http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S321 ... ml?cat=500

It's a story that has left the entire country wondering about the state of law enforcement in New Mexico.

4 On Your Side revealed how David Eckert rolled through a stop sign in Deming.

A K-9 named Leo alerted that it sniffed drugs on Eckert's driver's seat.

And, for the next 14 hours, those police officers, and doctors at the Gila Regional Medical Center performed eight medical procedures including x-rays, rectal finger exams, enemas, and finally a colonoscopy.

According to a federal lawsuit, officers Bobby Orosco and Robert Chavez were two of the officers involved, and they never found drugs inside Eckert.

Our investigation reveals another chapter. Another man, another minor traffic violation, another incident with Leo the K-9 and another example of the violation of a man's body.

Police reports state deputies stopped Timothy Young because he turned without putting his blinker on.

Again, Leo the K-9 alerts on Young's seat.

Young is taken to the Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, and just like Eckert, he's subjected to medical procedures including x-rays of his stomach and an anal exam.

Again, police found nothing, and again the procedures were done without consent, and in a county not covered by the search warrant.

We've learned more about that drug dog, Leo, that seems to get it wrong pretty often. He might be getting it wrong because he's not even certified in New Mexico.

If you take a look at the dog's certification, the dog did get trained. But his certification to be a drug dog expired in April 2011. K-9s need yearly re-certification courses, and Leo is falling behind.

"We have done public requests to find anything that would show this dog has been trained, we have evidence that this dog has had false alerts in the past," Eckert's attorney Shannon Kennedy said.

The doctors from the Gila Regional Medical Center have been turned over to the state licensing board. It's possible they could lose the ability to practice medicine.

And the police officers will be answering to a law enforcement board.

That guy was a Lieutenant? Wtf. He should be leading by example. I'm discussed with the coast guard over this. And why isn't he fired?

Three South Florida men, including a lieutenant commander with the U.S. Coast Guard JAG Corps in Miami, were arrested in a massive Sarasota County sexual predator sting, officials said Tuesday.

Attorney Shawn Gray, 45, was one of 31 men arrested in the six-day sting, dubbed "Operation Intercept," which targeted online predators, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said.

Authorities say the suspects responded to Internet ads and engaged in sexually explicit written and verbal conversations and agreed to come to Sarasota County to have sex with children.

When the suspects arrived, they were met by detectives and arrested.

According to a Sarasota County Sheriff's Office probable cause affidavit, between May 7 and May 12, Gray had communicated over the Internet with someone he believed was the parent of an 8-year-old girl.

Gray sent numerous emails and chat messages describing sexual acts he wanted to perform on the girl, the affidavit said.

On May 12, Gray traveled from Miami to Sarasota to engage in sexual activity with a person he believed to be a minor, the affidavit said.

Gray is charged with use of a computer to seduce, solicit or entice a child to commit sexual acts and travel to seduce, solicit or entice a child to commit sexual acts, authorities said. He was released Monday on $100,000 bond and it was unknown whether he has an attorney.

Also arrested in the sting were 21-year-old Dalbert Borges, of Hialeah, and 25-year-old Kevin Ramanan, of Dania Beach. They face the same charges Gray faces and it was unknown whether they have attorneys.

Borges was released Tuesday on $100,000 bond while Ramanan remained behind bars on $100,000 bond, jail records showed.

Several agencies assisted in the operation, including the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, the State Attorney's Office and members of the Central Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

"Predators establish contact with kids through chat rooms, instant messaging and discussion boards," Sarasota County Sheriff Tom Knight said in a statement. "The anonymity of the Internet allows these criminals to seem like caring individuals, but they’re only looking for vulnerable victims. Parents, you have to be your child’s protector and monitor what they are doing online."

For a part time cop, you are are sensitive.

Here's the difference:

What you posted involves someone doing something outside of work. Just so happens they work for the CG.
What was originally posted was done while they were at work, as a consequence of their job.

I'm not aware of anyone bashing cops in general for the behavior of an off-duty cop. I've never seen it here. But if you'd care to find a story where the Coast Guard boarded a guy's boat and then had him medically gang-raped, I will be more than happy to pile onto that as well. But you just compared apples to Toyotas.

Put aside your self-righteous indignation for a moment and give it another whirl. Nobody's badmouthing cops in here.

LOL @ Juice Box

I looked it up and that dude was a reserivst a part time Coastie and 2nd his crime doesn't have anything to do with his job. He's a dirt bag and he should be punished for his crimes but the CG didn't give him the power to commit the crimes.

I'm just trying to give olly a hard time is all while trying to make the point that people from all walks of life do screwed up things.

The differance is that the cops in my story did wrong while doing their job and abusing their power while your story was about a man that did wrong who's occupation had nothing to do with his wrong doing.

Come on man, Bootlipkiller gives me better shit than that.

Damn Juice, how long did you have to look to find some dirt on the Coast Guard?

Americans and other people are generally distributed across a large spectrum of good and evil and appear often as both. A perfectly good seeming person may have a slight perversion that puts him in a evil light.

Police officers and Coast Guard Officers are no exception to the distribution along the bell shaped curve. Often certain professions hold themselves up as to being superior to the rest of citizens. For example, the Clergy, Lawyers (officers of the court), doctors, the military and law enforcement. We know also that the public often tries to hold these professions to a "higher standard" but the fact remains that there are scum bags everywhere. Some professions try to cover up the misdeeds of it's members ( the Catholic Church, Law enforcement agencies, doctors and the military should come to every ones mind).

Because Olly made the original post about some dipshit police officers trying to make a case. We feel that we must find some malfeasance within the Coast Guard. For every asshole policeman, there is a super cop out there too but remember the enforcement attitude of a particular police department has a lot to do with the departments leadership and their hiring practices and required training. For every bad priest, there are equally good priests. Often, some of these professions are so protective of their members that the shitheads within the professions not only get by with substandard behavior but they have the protection of the members of the profession who will stand up for them until the last minute.

We often hear of priests being defrocked, policemen being fired or criminally charged but we almost never hear of any repercussions visited upon those that supported the asshole until the last minute.

It is my hope that IF the Demming cops were wrong that they get sent to prison and butt fucked by big black guys.
