That's the easy part. I'm not going to sit and watch it- I need to make some sort of trapdoor type deal. I was thinking something along the lines of Vietcong booby traps, even digging a small pit in the bean field, but can't figure out how to keep the squirrel on top without springing it. Gonna take some thought.

Fabricate a small c4 pack for the squirrel to wear connected to some det cord rigged to 'boom' when the hawk pulls all the line out. Maybe 100. Put the squirrel on a light break away leash and sit back on the deck and watch. If you do it right it'll only blow his feet off and the fucker'll never be able to land, just fly around, eye-balling your chickens and being hungry.
