This is about dying. This isn't cop bashing, for cripe's sake. Stop being so fucking sensitive. This is society bashing. We've become terrified of death, and elevated life at any cost to a position it was never meant to hold. Here's a shocker- we all die.

Dying is just as much a part of life as being born. If someone decides that's how they want to go, let them. It's THEIR FUCKING BUSINESS. (***Disclaimer- this next sentence is NOT cop bashing***) The cops feeling the need to taze this guy is the same attitude that has people in nursing homes, forgotten by everybody, or medicated in a hospital bed for 6 years while shitting on themselves, just because "life is precious". Sure it is, to a point. But we've confused "life" with "living". When it's my time, I'm just gonna scream my death song, and see what's up on the flip side. Clinging to something just for the sake of clinging is like Uncle Scrooge swimming in his money bin but afraid to spend a dime.

This dude- or anyone for that matter- wants to die, let him have the dignity of choosing the how and when. Because we all gotta go. But he's been robbed of that, and that's a tremendous amount of disrespect, for the very life you're claiming to be "saving".

It's not the police, it's society. Deep down inside, we all have that little tiny iota of belief that we can live forever. You can deny it, but it's there in all of us. Fuck that. The quicker you get past that, the better off you'll be. Maybe there should have been someone there to taze the Light Brigade before they charged, so they could all wither away and die, forgotten in some home somewhere. Maybe somebody should've tazed Eddie Aikau before he went. Maybe all the posthumous Medal of Honor winners should've been tazed before they ran out of the foxhole to help a friend. Maybe anyone who gets ready to sign a "do not resuscitate" order should be tazed to protect them from themselves.

Put your damn sensitivity aside and realize there's some dignity to dying. And this guy got treated like a bitch. And that's wrong.

I think 80 would be about my max. Don't want to go much higher than that. Not that some people cant, I know a WWII vet in his upper 90's that I'm pretty sure could kick my ass if he wanted to. Much respect for that old man.
