Then Sammy may be screwed. There is also a chance I could make Assa's head explode, if this cold front would be so generous as to push some big dumb Labrador Blacks my way.

Pretty sure is a picture of your "serious killin face" floating around the interweb already.

No I didn't. I was just about to pm you. Sammy showed up today and he looks traumatized by what jehler did to him. Try to pm me again and I'll ship him out on monday.

It took a while for him to get here, I won't be joining the traveling decoys again. And sorry for any inconvenience Weston.

So we're off by a week?

You should take it first with your earlier start than most of us. Give a week buffer to clear customs, then roll in the States.

Call dibs now!

Sucks It didn't work out for you, FC...

Well I do have him for the weekend. The only birds we can find while scouting were lawn darts and a few goldeneye. Gonna hit them tomorow. If the wind dies down a bit for sunday, I might be able to convince my brother to do a layout hunt for sea ducks on the bay, or go to another spot for blacks if the wind is right.

I just feel bad for the delays.

We went out this morning and bagged a few tweezers. It was cold as hell, but a good time was had by all.

I am attending the NCH if no one wants it until Rick gets it I would gladly take it back with me to ky. I'm sure I can put it on a hunt in the swamp and possibly 1 more in Missouri.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to hunt much with SS while I had him in my possession due to work/vacation schedule. I was able to get him out on two hunts without any luck. I think his soul and mojo have been tainted since Jehler had his time with him. He was always jumpy, and would never look me in the eye. Hopefully Dustin has better luck with him than I did. The two days I was able to make it out the 16th and 17th it was unseasonably warm. Sunday we had 30-40mph winds and actually had a little bit of a reverse migration. The problem with the wind being that strong is ducks REALLY have to want in to finish. We had 3 or 4 groups that I was certain were going to and then they would give up at about 40 yards and let the wind suck them back out. Saturday the 16th there wasn’t a duck around to be seen. I wish I had more to report but some days the hunting just stinks. I was glad to get out and spend some time with my Dad and away from the office.
