Basically, people are freaking out because those fluffy UGG boots that girls wear are made from sheep skin and not fake leather. What is this world coming too.

no, i had a beef and swine class a few years ago though and recall hormone discussion. they most definitely do give growth hormones to cattle, and i think they do for swine as well. (edited to add: not swine, but sheep)

honestly, i think i saw on a pack of chicken that said it's illegal to give poultry growth hormones, could have been bullshit for all i know.
