I wish I had been taking pictures but this thread makes me think of I-65N going to GA. There is a huge project going on there building this crazy tall and impressive on an off ramp system. Since leaving MI in May I've been past that project about 10 times and everytime I am amazed at their progress.

Kind of the opposite going on here.

They have two cranes, three excavators, two backhoe loaders, one front end loader and two bulldozers with about 10-15 guys on any given day. They are putting an 8x12 cement culvert (in pre made sections) under a 66' wide piece of roadway. They have been at it since April. I honestly believe with those resources I could put a culvert at least halfway across the state by now

It isn't a Knife River project by chance? they do the stuff here in Montana and it's the same story. took them two years to pave a 100 yards of intersection, which they tore up every day and moved the cones, no fucking idea what they did. i'd get there early enough in the morning that i'd be the only one stopped there for a half hour, always asked if their dad was the milkman by chance, i don't think they got it.

same place as ours, still up in Alaska.

i thought for sure this was gonna be a cold, snowy winter. i got up at 6 and it was over 50 degrees out.

absolutely unbelievable. I bet John is loving his extended building season right now.

I'm sersouly thinking about getting out of the CG when this enlistment is over and using my GI bill money to go to LSSU for four years.

If they bundle fisheries and wildlife management together, I'd look elsewhere.

what do you mean Bill? here they are sort of bundled together since the base classes are the same, but your senior year of undergrad you pick your specialty.

supposedly we have one of the best F/WM programs, but i'm not sure that's true anymore. i'm a junior and have only taken 2 actual wildlife management courses. i'm closer to having an LRES/Ag degree honestly.
