I use it on potatoes.
Red potatoes, green pepper, onion, garlic, margarine, and Montreal steak seasonings. Wrap it in foil, toss it on the grill. Ppl tell me it's the best potatoes they ever had...frequently.

Surprised you weren't crucified on here for using margerine. I like it better for grilling too

I do enjoy that seasonings. I particularly enjoy putting it on grilled speck breast with the skin still on it. Crispy and tasty. I make my own dry rub for deer steaks though.

Steaks on the grill right now have a nice coating in them.

I use them on ducks too. Fillet a mallard breast and put a heavy sprinkle of McCormicks on both sides. Throw them in a preheated cast iron pan with a layer of butter. Couple min on each side. One of my favorite ways to eat ducks.

They make these things called mason jars, you can empty your bacon drippings in them and store them in the fridge, then when ever you need don't bacon fat, bam, there it is!

Something about margarine just works better in that red potato recipe. Olive oil is a good substitute but hey...it's camping and that's just too fucking more gay. I mean gourmet.

I always have 4 types in the fridge. Salted and unsalted butter, cheap marg for grilling and Can't believe for Bagels.

Montreal steak is pretty much all I use on my jerky, along with soya, worcestershire, onion and red pepper flake.

I'm not a fan of it on steak, but it's awesome in burgers and meatloaf.
