The scull I was looking at may have been a two man. I think it was like 13' and was on a trailer.
Still haven't given up on the possibility though. Maybe you could take us out and give a show of it, when we are there for the WFF WCH. :thumbsup:

I agree mike. It is tough. Charlie always gives me the same "Seriously?!" look as I'm walking out the door. I usually only scull on blue bird days when the birds aren't moving. As fun as it is it still doesn't beat decoying birds over your gun dog.

Youre on the right coast for a boat. Keep your eye on Craigslist. And if one ever comes up here locally I can give you a hollar.

My boats a one man, but I might be able to talk Chessyman or one of his boys into taking some of y'all out.

Do you use the sculling oar exclusively, or do you have a kayak paddle in there for the long hauls?

Not sure. You can drift in the sea duck zone, but am almost positive an oar is considered "under power".

it does seem unethical, Red you might as well just throw an ear of corn out every ten yards while you oar...

Hmm. Its not here. You can paddle up to ducks here and shoot.

Not here:

Individuals must hunt from a boat at anchor or while standing on
the natural bottom;

Hunters must be at least 250 yards from the property line of any
landowners adjoining the state-owned properties or 250 yards from where
that line would be if it were extended perpendicular from the shoreline
out into the water;

Hunters must be not more than one-third the distance from the
state-owned property to the opposite shore or a maximum of 300 yards
offshore from the state-owned property, whichever is less;

Hunters must remain at least 250 yards from any licensed
stationary blind or blind site or another person or party hunting wild
waterfowl; and

Hunters must remain at least 125 yards from any licensed shoreline on the opposite shore. A person may not guide hunting parties for economic gain on the waters adjacent to these areas.

If any of you guys figure out what any of that other shit means, don't bother me with it. You see now why I pretty much ignore the game laws here, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Technical writing in college was difficult but I learned a lot. These fuckers writing regs need to be schooled. They write regs for people to fail rather than write for people to succeed. Fuckers.

Don't feel bad Assa, we can't here either. In the 4 lakes that we can open water hunt, you have to be anchored.

Same here. I do a lot of duck hunting by myself, so I might look into this. It would be a nice change up.

Just curious, what's the draft on these boats? Dow do they do in a slight chop?
