So, here are a few pictures of the last few days here. It has not been whirlwind hunting by anybody's standards but, I been having fun.
Tuesday, while scouting, took these 2 Mr. Pinkfeet. Might have already posted this one.

Here is the hide for Wednesday's hunt.

And, here is the hole I hunted on Wednesday. Just a smallish slough.

Here is the take for the day on Wednesday (5 mallards, 1 baldpate, 1 GE hen). Probably should've tried for all mallards that day.

On Thursday, while I was standing in the deeks knocking off the ice and snow, this loner came across an open pasture for about 1/4 mile and just 12' off the deck, like he was on a string. He never clucked or anything and just made a b-line staright at the full body geese I has set up on a small beach covered in snow, just off to the side of the rest of my spread.

Here's the days take for Thursday. The Mr Pinkfeet was a hail Mary that worked out. Almost wasn't able to get him, due to private property with in feet of his crash landing.

And then today, the longest day and the least birds taken.
This single green head was it for birds on my longest hunted day this week.

I checked traps for Quackhead while I was down at the river. So, here is the days take.

Today is my last day bird hunting. We'll be after buffalo tomorrow and leave for home on Sunday.
It was a great trip including the Kansas NCH.
