This is a picture of my dad and uncle Crowley with a buck my dad shot 1 month exactly before I was born.

Here's another one of my Grandpa, and 3 of his friends back in the 50s. Back then you could shoot 2 bucks a season in MT. They hit the jackpot one day with all 4 of the guys getting their 2 bucks, with 3 of them weighing over 300.

Never have shot a spikey. But it sure is fun to watch them get into little fights with another spikey or forked horn.

one of my great g-pa,s step brother,s his dad went to look for work and never came back .so he was just one of the kids no diffrent than the rest. it was a hard time for all and people just sucked it up and went on .his name was conner and he was a outdoor writer .i still tell my kid,s about him he drank jimbeam/smoked 4 ce-gars a day and was 97 whin he passed .hunted the weekend before he went i missed it and still bums me .he was one of those old men who could fix anything help u anyway he was able but u best not mess with i have his mod 11,mod 12.and greener 10 bore

you can look up some old field and stream 30,s to 48. look under mack conner .mostly bird n duck stuff. before that he did show shooten as he called it for some fair side shows .he and his first wife went to south africa after gold and he wrote a book about that called[ gold and gun,s] he was a decoy carver and i still have 8 of his old ones done in the 20,s after that he mostly wrote fly fishing stuff .i have 2 of his old bamboo fly rods and some very nice handmade reel,s .all the old stuff makes its way to me none of the kids want it .i keep it and now my step girl katy wants it passed to her so she can keep it safe. the history and story behind who passed it down means a lot to her.i wish i had been able to spend more time with him .he was never dull.

naw but but we have a poto of mack conner,jack o'conner,and ernest hemingway . thay are posed with some pheasant .no idea whin taken it was in a box with a bunch that had faded badly i took the box to a poto shop and had as much saved as was able. he told us as kid,s [the world was finding itself in 30,to50 we as solders saw parts we would have seen but for ww2 and we wanted to see more. at that time the pen pushing, rule writing ,wanna run every @#$%%%^& thing had no pull so a man was able to stand up and be a man ] he was fun . and he could hit with that old fox .i still shoot some skeet with it but mostly it stays in the safe .id most likely get some rough words about that .he felt guns are tools buy good use well keep clean and if you wont hunt with it dont buyit or drink with em .
